Art Across the Curriculum
As the benefits of creating art are gaining recognition, more and more educators are open to incorporating art or creative assignments into their lessons and assessments. For students with Individual Education Plans (IEP's), we believe that some form of creative work can be especially beneficial for two important reasons: building self-esteem and autonomy, and the opportunity to connect multiple meanings and ways of looking at things across subjects; and important part of critical thinking.
